Arriving to the Event
The HSMD will be held on the first floor of the Clough Undergraduate Learning Center. Signs will be put up for directions to Clough.
The following information is updated for 2024. This page is broken into two sections: Buses and All Other Vehicles (Cars/Vans).
Buses
- We are providing a limited number of bus permits for participating schools. Please check your email if you are registered for HSMD 2024 to see if you received a permit.
- If you received a bus permit, you may park on 940 Fowler St NW. We highly recommend dropping off your students at Clough first and then parking accordingly.
- The easiest way to drop students off near Clough is to drop them off at the loop at the end of 4th St. There will be signs/volunteers directing HSMD participants to the Clough building.

- After you drop off your students, please proceed to 940 Fowler St NW. Turn onto Bobby Dodd Way NW and turn right onto Fowler St NW, before parking on the right side of the street.

All Other Vehicles (Car/Vans)
For all other vehicles including cars/vans, you mark park in/near Visitor Parking Area 2 or Area 3 located at 355 Ferst Dr NW. Parking will be 15$ per day. For more details, please visit: http://pts.gatech.edu/visitors.

Some parking advice:
- Although the Georgia Tech campus is generally very safe, please lock your vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
- Do NOT park in any handicap, service vehicle, or other reserved space unless you have the proper permits!
General Directions to Atlanta
The easiest way to arrive to the Georgia Tech campus is via I-75/85; directions for both south- and north-bound travelers are listed below:
Driving south on I-75/85 into Atlanta:
Take Exit #249D (North Avenue). At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto North Avenue. Cross Techwood Drive (the first light) and continue on North Avenue to Cherry Street (before the next light, Tech Parkway) and make a right. Make a left onto Ferst Drive. Visitor parking for Area 2 and Area 3 is accessible from Ferst Drive.
Driving north on I-75/85 into Atlanta:
Take Exit #249D (Spring Street/West Peachtree). At the top of the exit ramp, proceed through the first intersection (Spring Street). At the next intersection (West Peachtree), turn left. Continue on West Peachtree for approximately one block and turn left on North Avenue. Cross over the interstate and Techwood Drive. Continue on North Avenue to Cherry Street (before the next light, Tech Parkway) and make a right. From here, you will be able to take a left onto Ferst Drive. Visitor parking for Area 2 and Area 3 is accessible from Ferst Drive.
From I-20: Take I-20 into Atlanta, exit on I-75/85 N, and follow the appropriate directions above.
